Welcome to Tuck ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Tuck mobile application or visiting our website at tuck.house (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tuck. Please read them carefully.
Tuck is an AI-powered home knowledge management application for iOS. The Service allows you to capture, organize, and retrieve information about your home, including appliance details, maintenance records, warranty information, contractor contacts, and other home-related data. The Service uses artificial intelligence to process photos and text to help you manage your home knowledge. When you use voice features, speech is transcribed on your device before any text is sent for AI processing — voice audio never leaves your device.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create a Tuck account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that:
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
Tuck offers the following subscription plans:
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Subscriptions are billed and managed through Apple's App Store.
To cancel your subscription, you must do so through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We are unable to process cancellations or refunds directly — all billing matters are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.
Prices are in United States dollars and are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before your next renewal.
Tuck offers a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically begin, and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and is typically limited to one trial per Apple ID.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including photos, text, documents, and any other data ("User Content").
By using the Service, you grant Tuck a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license exists only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service to you.
You represent that you have the right to submit any User Content you provide and that your User Content does not violate any third party's rights.
Tuck uses artificial intelligence, including Google's Gemini models, to process your photos and text inputs. When you use voice features, speech-to-text conversion happens on your device using Apple's speech recognition framework — voice audio never leaves your device. These AI features are an integral part of the Service.

The Service, including its design, features, code, content, and branding (excluding User Content), is owned by Tuck and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TUCK AND ITS DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tuck and its developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account through the app settings, which will result in the deletion of your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at the email address listed below. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.

Your use of the Service is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service.
